- Remote Technical Support Volunteer / Consultant, Chelan County Fire District Number 1, serving the Greater Wenatchee Valley in beautiful Central Washington. While operating locally in Chelan County, Mr. McGarr worked in Public Education, Public Information, and general support, including providing support for the 2010 Wildfire Season.

- Co-Chair, Communications Council, Prairie Unitarian Universalist Church, Parker, CO
